American River Conservancy:   Protects and enhances natural habitats where biodiversity can flourish; promotes, through environmental education, a broad ethic of stewardship.
FISHBIO is a dedicated group of fisheries research and monitoring scientists, engineers, and technicians that specialize in counting, tracking, and analyzing fish and wildlife populations throughout the world.
Foothills Water Network: Provides a forum that increases the effectiveness of conservation organizations to achieve river and watershed restoration and protection benefits for the Yuba, Bear, and American. This includes negotiations at the county, state, and federal levels, with an immediate focus on the upcoming FERC re-licensing processes.
Friends of the River:  Dedicated to preserving, protecting, and restoring California’s rivers, streams, and their watersheds.
Leave No Trace:  The Leave No Trace Center for Outdoor Ethics builds environmental programs that teach awareness and respect for our country’s natural areas. The nonprofit organization works with diverse populations to integrate a nationally recognized set of skills and ethics with basic messages such as “pack it in/pack it out” and “leave it better than you found it.”
